The controversy began when some viewers noticed that the lyrics being pumped through the audio mix didn't match Rock's actual performance. However, Rock explains that this was due to production crew unfamiliarity with the song and Paradime not being lit during the performance. He clarifies that he and Paradime were trading lyrics, with Paradime filling in words and phrases to help Rock catch his breath and keep the energy high.
"When we're rapping it, that song takes so much energy," Rock explains. "He's filling in those words for me so I can (catch my breath), bang my head, keep going and carrying on."
Despite the initial confusion, Rock assures fans that there was no lip-syncing involved. He also addresses the 'fake news media, left wingers, crazy libtards' who ran with the lip-sync story, aiming to shut down those reports.
